Oh how we loved this wedding! Kendra and Sam wanted an elegant and approachable wedding day that was laced with the things they love the most: history, animals and good food. The Pierce House in Lincoln, MA was the perfect setting for their lovely wedding. You know we love us a good historic estate, and the Pierce House boasts with gentle rolling hills, a quaint little pond and the understated yet grand centerpiece of that gorgeous big yellow house with black shutters. It has years of secrets hiding up in it's creaky old pine floors, which automatically makes our job a breeze once you set the old with the modern love of a new family coming together with their joyful friends and family members. They enlisted the help of the talented Liz and her team from Elegant Aura Wedding and Event Planning to execute their vision and OH what a beautiful job they did! We love how Kendra and Sam brought along their darling little doggy ring barer - Hazelnut (how perfect is that name for that little floof?) to join in the festivities. One of our favorite things is to try to capture the couple *as they are* and not impose magazine/Pinteresty posing that feels artificial. Their portraits, set on the quiet grounds of the Pierce House and the moody overcast lighting turned out just as we hoped for this pair. We would be amiss not to thank our talented second shooter, Randall for joining us with his expert eye and attention to detail. Congratulations, Kendra and Sam!
