Life has such a funny way of connecting people, doesn't it? Take Brooklyn and Braden for example. We photographed Brooklyn's father's wedding back in 2012 in Boston. Fast forward a few moves for each of us (us to Minnesota, John and Jessica to Hawaii and then to Arizona) and John reaches out to share that his daughter Brooklyn is getting married in Mesa at their local LDS Temple, and they will be having a backyard wedding (with a waffle truck!) a few weeks later to celebrate. We are always up for an adventure - so off we went to Mesa, Arizona to photograph Brooklyn and Braden's vibrant and joyful wedding party. We loved how much genuine affection these two shared, and how it seemed like they had been together well beyond their years. In our experience, LDS weddings are so creative - and Brooklyn and Braden's bash did not disappoint. After some stunning portraits in the desert (could have shot them there alllll day!) the party began back at the house when the giant, pink Waffle Truck pulled up. Lots of hugging, dancing and even pyrotechnics accompanied the evening's event schedule which accumulated with an energetic sparkler send off. It was a blast and we were so happy to have had the opportunity to work with such an incredible family again. Congratulations to the newlyweds! Brooklyn and Braden, you two were made for one another!
