Happy 2018 Friends! We blinked and it's the middle of January. Wait a minute....actually we worked non stop between September and the end of December and then took a well deserved do-nothing-but-watch-Netflix-in-sub-zero-temperatures Holiday break. The mental break has been good for us but we're looking at 2018 now with fresh, well-rested eyes and so excited to share some of the work we've been doing. For awhile there things were so full that we were not updating the Journal in a timely manner while we were prioritizing delivering projects into the hands of our clients as soon as we could. Things have settled a bit now and we're excited to share with you all what has been keeping us so busy.
We photographed Stephanie and Kirk's lovely little wedding in September in Saint Paul. We love us a good Saint Paul Wedding and Stephanie and Kirk's did not disappoint. They exchanged vows at their home church in Roseville where they decided to keep with tradition and wait until Stephanie was walking down the aisle to see one another. Kirk is an outgoing, yet grounded kind of guy - so it was exceptionally heart warming to see a few tears roll down his cheeks as he saw his Stephanie walk down the aisle. They have a special place in their hearts for Como Park in Saint Paul (St Paul's gem if you ask us!) and decided to do photos after the ceremony at Como, which is also where they got engaged. Their party continued at the Science Museum of Minnesota downtown Saint Paul with a perfectly breezy cocktail hour overlooking the mighty Mississippi and a fun perk of their guests getting to enjoy the exhibits at the museum before the reception started. It was a great day - and one we were happy to be a part of. Stephanie and Kirk - we wish you nothing but happiness together for many years to come!
