I'm just going to come out and say what you're all thinking. These. Two. Are. Gorgeous. Okay, now that that's out of my system we can gush a bit about how good Shalini and Abhinav are together. They will be getting married in Texas later next year but wanted to have some Engagement Photos in the city they met and fell in love. Shalini and Abhinav met in undergrad at BU and continued their courtship through medical school (also at BU) and into their medical residencies with BU affiliated hospitals. I don't know about you but we are voting that they get a Boston Terrier named Rhett ASAP. Thank you for allowing us to photograph you during this exciting time and we wish you nothing but the best!
Jessica + Andrew = Engaged
We're excited to show you a few more engagement sessions before the big wave of weddings we've got lined up for you in the coming weeks. Truth be told, we've scheduled almost all of our remaining engagement sessions in April or May so that we can be in full wedding mode once June hits since our calender is quite steady from then until November. So while you've been getting a lot of engagement session goodness the last few weeks, it's about to turn into lots of white dresses (which no one can argue being a bad thing). For today we'll enjoy sweet Jessica and Andrew's classic Boston Engagement Session. We met up with these two at the Boston Public Library, headed down the Commonwealth Avenue Green way (and caught some cool light coming through the sprinklers!) and then ended in the Boston Public Garden. We probably saw three engagement sessions happening in the Garden while we were there, but there is a reason it's such a popular spot to take photos. It's gorgeous and every nook and cranny feels just a little bit different. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Jessica and Andrew's life together and their plans to marry in Philadelphia next spring. They were clearly rocking out the camera since we couldn't find one photo they both didn't look smashing in. Congrats Jessica and Andrew!
Charlene + Andrew = Engaged
One of the most popular choices for Engagement Session locations in Boston span in about a six block radius. They include, The Boston Public Library, Commonwealth Avenue, The Boston Public Gardens and Common, and the Beacon Hill Neighborhood. It's a no-brainier of why this stretch hereby after known as 'The Classic Boston Engagement Session' (titled by yours truly) is so popular. It's quintessentially Boston and unabashedly gorgeous. Really, 'The Classic Boston Engagement Session' is a union of all things architectural, academic and pretty. You can't go wrong. You may have seen a few shoots that we've done in these locations, including this little number with Charlene and Andrew. They are getting married this summer at a beautiful Estate in Newport, RI, so it was only natural to have their engagement session capture their lives here in Boston. We've fallen hard for these two. They are charismatic, cool and totally cute together. We had a great time getting to know them during their e*session and think their photos are a great sign that they are going to rock out the lens this summer during their wedding photos. Naturals, I tell you. naturals.
Ingrid + Kris = Engaged
We had the pleasure of meeting up with Ingrid and Kris in November to capture their engagement around some of Boston's finest city scape. Matt and Ingrid have known each other since infancy (their parents are friends) and so when we learned of Ingrid's new home and new fiancee in Boston, we knew we had to meet up with them. It took about five minutes for us to whole heartily approve of Kris, who was not only charming but humble......a true gentlemen! We started in the Boston Public Library's courtyard, which oozes it's stone washed elegance on all its subjects, and then moved through Copley Square and down to the Boston Public Library. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with these two, hearing of their hopes to wed in Iceland in 2013 and all the little details about their life here in Boston. We couldn't be happier for the two of you, and can't wait to hear how your wedding plans develop!
