Chuck spent a morning photographing Amanda and Jaco in one of our favorite places, Concord, Massachusetts a few weeks back on a delightfully spring morning. They met up near the Old Manse, which was old stomping grounds for Amanda from her days as a tour guide there. While Amanda hails from the Western Suburbs of Boston, Jaco is originally from South Africa and the two of them now call Illinois home. They will be getting married at perhaps our most favorite venue on earth (where we got married, in fact) in just a few short weeks but before the wedding we had to get them in front of the camera. We love the way Jaco looks at Amanda, and how it's clear that Amanda feels right at home in his arms. We can't wait to shoot their wedding at the Codman Estate later this month but for now we're savoring their sweet e-session with Chuck!
Caitlin + Dave = Engaged
From the moment we met Caitlin and Dave, two things were very clear; Caitlin had a heart of gold, and Dave was crazy about Caitlin. They had a calm and confident vibe between the two of them that showed their relationship maturity and vigor to finally be husband and wife. They were centered, sure and ready to tie the knot. We took an immediate liking to them and were pumped when they told us they wanted us to photograph their upcoming September wedding. When we met up with them last month to shoot their Engagement session in one of our favorite Massachusetts towns (Concord!) we got to know them even better. We discovered that Dave is a talented musician and that Caitlin should probably become a wedding planner when their wedding is said and done because this girl is or-ga-nized. We loved watching their photo jitter nerves melt away as they found their vibe in front of the camera. Aren't they sweet? I just love the last photo of them. Pure happiness.
Lauren + Jay = Engaged
We have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of getting to know Lauren and Jay. They are the type of people that everyone wants to have as friends. Fun, outgoing, relaxed and easy to talk with. They also have a mutual love of music, which we got to see in action since Jay brought along his guitar to their session and Lauren sang with him (insert collective 'awww'). Early in their relationship, they would bring along musical rhythm shakers (or 'eggs') and take photos of themselves with their shaker in place of the others absence, so it was only natural that they bring along their shakers to our shoot. (We're hoping they incorporate them into their wedding somehow too....cake topper anyone?). We had a lovely time capturing them in historic downtown Concord and the Old North Bridge. The sun was at its best, and clearly, Lauren and Jay are naturals in front of the camera. We can't wait until their December wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill - it's going to be gorgeous!
